Romantic Norfolk

Norfolk is famed for its countryside full of churches, charming rural villages, the windmills of the Norfolk Broads and wide, ever changing skies. It encompasses a variety of landscapes from woodlands to wetlands. The weather creates an endless variety of light effects from unexpected shafts of sunlight piercing a stormy sky to the silvery quality of a crisp winter dawn or the radiance or a summer sunset. The photography in Romantic Norfolk captures this superb landscape to perfection.

Published as a companion to The Romantic Norfolk Coast, these two books represent a personal selection of the photographer’s favourite images.

Norfolk born photographer, John Duckett, focuses on capturing the unique skies and cloudscapes of the county, making best use of the more dramatic light found at dawn and dusk. Whether resident or visitor, the reader will enjoy the superb images of Norfolk’s unique countryside as presented in this book.

John Duckett's interest in photography began in his teens and he has developed his unique style through experience and experimentation with different camera settings and filters. For many years he worked in sales, covering the whole of Norfolk and this has stirred his passion for seeing how the light can completely change the atmosphere of a landscape. In recent years he has settled in north Norfolk and devotes more time and passion to his work as a photographer.

Portrait of the Waveney Valley - £14.99

A Boot Up The Norfolk Coast Book 1 - £4.99
This book of 12 short walks arose from Tony Rothe's ongoing passion for the North Norfolk coast and a desire to share its beauty with others, coupled with a realisation that not everyone can afford the time to devote a couple of hours or more to the walks generally found in more demanding walks books. This book covers the stretch of coast and inland from Castle Rising to Overstrand.
