Here is the best of Suffolk captured in over 130 superb colour pictures taken by a master of atmospheric photography.
David Gynn has always had a keen interest in the natural world and art. His images of landscapes and natural history have been featured in a number of exhibitions in Suffolk and Essex.
He captures his images both on film and digital cameras, selecting the most appropriate medium for the given subject. He admits to getting the greatest pleasure from taking pictures of stunning sunrises in deserted places using his trusted medium format film camera - it requires a slower, more methodical approach than when using the abundance of technology provided by a digital camera - 'I think that the much slower process involved makes for images that are more considered and more soulful.’ he says.
