The Causeway Coast depicts a photographer’s journey along the beautiful Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland.

Join landscape photographer Steven Hanna as he takes you on a photographic adventure along one of the most breath-taking coastlines in the world. Hidden bays, secluded harbours, sandy beaches, ruined castles and a UNESCO World Heritage Site all play their role in this adventure.

Prepare to see the Causeway Coast in a very different light!

Steven Hanna has spent many years exploring the Causeway Coast, visiting and re-visiting locations such as the Giant’s Causeway, the hidden gems of Portmoon and Portcoon and the vistas of Murlough Bay and Torr Head, in search of its mysterious atmosphere. Most of the photographs in this book have been shot during the ‘magic hours’ when the light is soft and creates a beautiful warmth to the landscape – Steven is always searching for that perfect moment.

The Causeway Coast needs to be explored, no matter what the weather. A stormy day in December can be just as nice as a sunny day in July!

This book is his rambling journey along this scenic spectacular, told in more than 140 stunning images representing the discovery of an ever-changing landscape filled not just with seaside towns but with history and mysticism; picturesque villages and hills; castles, towers and ancient buildings and, at the heart of the book, the geological marvel of a coast rich in fossils and perfect natural design.

If you’re local, you’ll recognise the beauty of this coast and if you’re a visitor, this sumptuous book will inspire you to see it for yourself.

Are you ready for this adventure?

Steven is the 2017 PPANI Landscape Photographer Of The Year and is from Cullybackey in Co. Antrim. A husband to Lynne and father to Sofia, Steven’s photographic passion is the coast, in particular, the rugged coastline of Ireland. His work has been exhibited across Northern Ireland and his images bring home the beauty of the sweeping landscapes that Northern Ireland has to offer. Steven also leads photographic workshops each year along the stunning Causeway Coast. This is Steven’s fourth landscape photography book.
